Mrs. Cimino
Mrs. Cimino (then Julie Fletcher) in 1972
I’m originally from Ridgewood, New Jersey and graduated from Colorado State University with a fine arts degree. I have over 18 years as a marketing professional. Just over six years ago I made a life changing decision based on my desire to positively impact children's lives. I am passionate about contributing something meaningful to our community and the world. I can think of no other profession more rewarding than that of a teacher. I was fortunate to become a teacher in the Eanes Independent School District and it has been the most rewarding career decision I have made.
My advertising experience allows me to find the best way for messages to resonate with my students. This background has provided me with a unique teaching perspective and as a result, my classroom is learner-based, highly engaging, and lessons are passionately delivered and visually reinforced. My desire is to encourage our students to meet their full potential. I believe each child is a creative and unique individual, and together our class will be a great place to learn!

I am so excited to join the staff at Valley View Elementary this year! I grew up in San Antonio, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a psychology degree. I later obtained my law degree from South Texas College of Law and worked in the legal field for several years. Two years ago I finally followed my heart and began teaching (preschool). This was the best decision ever!
Growing up I have fond memories of painting on my kitchen floor, learning how to use a pottery wheel (with my Dad who was an artist) and experimenting with all sorts of mediums.
I am looking forward to growing and learning with each child that comes in the Art room!
