COLOR THEORY
Our fifth grade artists reviewed the color wheel, and learned how tints and shades are created. We also looked at the Ellsworth Kelly building called Austin, located at our very own Blanton Museum! Students are creating their own mixed up color wheel using the three primary colors. In addition to showing the pure hues, students are also creating at least one tint and one shade of each of the primary and secondary colors using white and black paint.
